Ligaya has educated the Filipino community and diaspora on the history, culture, and traditions of the Philippines for over 10 years. She is a Filipino Reconstructionist following Anituo, a modern, Animistic and Polytheistic spirituality following the pre-colonial beliefs and practices of the Philippines. She lives in NYC with her two dogs and is currently writing a book on the pre-colonial beliefs of the Philippines.

Frances Michelle Cannon

Frances, aka Franny, is a Los Angeles-based writer & event producer. She spent the last 10 years in the craft brewing industry as the Executive Director of the L.A. County Brewers Guild and Associate Editor of The Full Pint. Prior to her most recent stint in the nonprofit world, Franny spent the bulk of her career in various writing and marketing capacities in the music and arts industries. Her writing has appeared in Village Voice Media, Conde Nast, Tasting Table, All About Beer Magazine, Edible, and The Rumpus. She has also been featured for her work in LA Weekly, LAist, Thrillist, Paste Magazine, and LA Taco. When she's not driving the Kapwa team crazy with edits and documentation, she can be found in specialty coffee shops, taco trucks, and record stores all over L.A. Who are we kidding? She's probably at home playing Zelda.

Topher is a Canadian born photographer and graphic designer living in LA. His hobbies include gaming, working out, DND, thrifting, and eating. During the pandemic, Topher started feeling out of touch with his Filipino heritage.
